WBBJ-TV, 7 Eyewitness News is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to join the No. 1 team in West Tennessee.
Candidates need to be self-starters, who come to the table with daily story ideas. Our journalists are passionate about storytelling. Since Breaking News and Severe Weather is important to the viewers, our MMJs also need to be the market leaders in their cover of these areas.
A degree in broadcast journalism, communications or related fields is preferred, but not required. A positive attitude and good work ethic are key to being the right candidate for us. Must be able to carry 30 pounds of gear and have a clean driving record.
To help with the transition to a new job and location, we offer a $1000 signing bonus. The bonus is paid upon starting with us, and contingent on employees completing a full year of employment.
