Overview: This is a full-time role for an Electrical Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome for several projects. Attention on the successful completion of projects with a high level of business acumen and global awareness of how projects affect the company overall is required to be successful in this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Effectively manage a large value of electrical construction projects.
· Execute on the direction of Division Manager and WBE Leadership.
· Provide divisional support for company development and process improvement initiatives.
· Manage all financial aspects of a contract (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to
protect the
company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client.
· Forecast project financials, prepare monthly financial reports and participate in forecast meetings.
· Prepare project SOV’s and billings.
· Identify, submit and drive approval for scope of change orders.
· Identify, prevent and limit exposure to project schedule delays.
· Manage the prime contract execution process.
· Monitor subcontractor scopes of work, create subcontracts and approve subcontracts S.O.V.s
· Lead project pre-planning efforts by partnering with Virtual Construction, Estimating and field.
· Create, monitor, and troubleshoot issues with purchase orders, project material submittals, and RFI’s.
· Effectively train and direct project support staff on daily tasks, offering guidance as needed.
· Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of
corporate
policies that will create a statement of work that clearly communicates expectations.
· Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project.
· Oversee labor reporting and accurately forecast manhours to stay in line with budget.
· Maintain liaison with prime client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.
· Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman to ensure project is being
built on schedule, and within budgets.
· Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company
guidelines, and under supervision.
· Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
· Document all relevant project updates and communication between subcontractors, clients, and
vendors.
· Ensure completeness of a project close by finalizing all open items (change orders, documentation,
etc.).
· Document and gather data for stakeholder reporting.
· Participate in the training of Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.

Education & Experience:
· 7 years of experience in electrical project management preferred
· Experience estimating change orders
· 5 years directly involved with contract plans/specs and project accounting
· Successful graduation of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or long-term (10-15 years)
experience in the electrical industry in a variety of capacities
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related degree a plus
· Strong ability to learn new technology
· Proficiency in MS Office / O365 applications
· Proficiency in Spectrum, Bluebeam and PlanGrid (and/or related project management software)

· Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and have ability to operate a vehicle to
travel to various project locations, supplier sites, and meetings.
· Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and
hearing protection as required by safety regulations.
· Ability to communicate written and verbally with customers, field workforce, management, and
coworkers is required.
· Stamina to stand, walk, and move around the construction site for extended periods, as well as move
around the office.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.
· Must frequently lift and or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 35 pounds.
· Regular and routine attendance.
Annual Salary of $130,000 - $150,000 ( Bonus) Generous Compensation Package
