What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern (Electrical & Controls) position at WBI Energy?
Assist the Electrical & Controls department with construction, maintenance, and assigned engineering projects. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
This position may be eligible for scholarship funding at the completion of the internship.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have completed sophomore level of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent engineering curriculum at an accredited Institution.
Must be currently enrolled in engineering course of study.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate, correspond and interact with senior staff/management and field personnel.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Strong customer service skills and ability to provide effective and timely information.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
