What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at WBI Energy?
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Safely performs all duties required to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conducts regular inventory audits and ensures optimal inventory levels to meet business demands. Controls inventory to fulfill scheduled operations and distribution needs or the organization. Analyzes inventory stock, requests, and shipments for inventory control and resolves discrepancies. Maintains procurement supply and logistic operations, and warehouse facility and inventories.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalency.
Two years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, or applicable material management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Able to operate material handling equipment such as a skid steer, forklift, telehandler and/or crane at a proficient level.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Previous inventory management experience
Proficient in the use of inventory software.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Subject to the Company’s DOT Substance Abuse Testing Program.
Must pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
Possess or acquire valid forklift certification or obtain certification within 1 month.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows safety rules and helps ensure safe working conditions and equipment.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Ensure all materials meet material specifications and ensure request delivery dates are met.
Maintain material inventory levels necessary to assist in projects, operations, and maintenance of warehouse facility.
Processes fulfillment order and scheduled distribution plans.
Build test stations, joint bonds, and various other specialty items in the shop that we hold in inventory.
Manage the test instruments, ensure they are in working order – check out/check in of specialty tools.
Manage calibrations of all test instruments, ensure all instruments stay within calibration windows.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Offers Typically made between $23.83 - $29.78 per hour
