Objective:
- The Behavioral Health Tech is part of the WC-Health transitional housing program which provides residential support for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor program members and provide daily shift reports.
- Daily reminders regarding medications and appointments.
- Checking residents in/out of the property.
- Conduct urinalysis and breathalyze program members.
- Observe and submit incident reports as necessary.
- Assist program members with meal preparation.
- Create a daily cleaning schedule for program members.
- Conduct property and room checks.
- Communicate with the case management and treatment team regarding updates and changes of behavior.
- Attends and participates in weekly meetings regarding quality improvement.

Work Environment:
- This position works in an outpatient mental care facility.
- There will be frequent interaction with persons who are mentally ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
