Job Description
PURPOSE:
- Assist residents to manage and administer their OWN medications through MED REMINDER PROGRAM.
- Assist residents to document the administration times of their medications using company technology platform to monitor compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- To ensure all residents take their medications daily and report non-compliant residents.
- To document and receive medications from the Pharmacy and properly store medications.
- Properly upload all medications on resident's profile in an accurate manner.
- Assist residents in obtaining new and refill prescriptions.
- Medication management thru med reminders following Company's policies and procedures.
- Daily wellness observations and documentations of side effect complaints.
- Communicates clearly with residents, families, case management, and Housing Director regarding concerns, issues, errors, and non-compliance.
- Orders, receives, and inventories supplies and medications. Ensure supplies are always available.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the med room.
- Reports concerns about residents to appropriate supervisors.
- Assist housing team in performing daily breathalyzers and random drug tests.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months experience administering medications preferred but not required.
- Proficient communication in verbal and written English.
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Good telephone skills
- Must pass background check and drug test.
- Basic First Aid training preferred but not required.
- Computer proficient. Excel and Word programs.
PREFERENCES:
- One year experience as a med tech in a long term care facility, sober living, or transitional housing.
- Bilingual
- Behavioral health experience
