WCC Furniture & Mattress Center is a quickly-growing locally owned and operated company working to build a reliable and hard-working team. We are currently searching for an experienced and reliable delivery driver.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service on deliveries and at warehouse pickups
- Driving company box trucks safely
- Loading delivery trucks properly
- Unloading vendor trucks at warehouse
- Assembling furniture
- Properly storing merchandise in warehouse
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Unloading furniture at deliveries
- Loading customer pickups at warehouse
- Communicating with customers and management regarding any concerns
Job Requirements:
- Clean driving record (driving record will be reviewed prior to hire)
- Clean background (background checks, as well as random drug screening, are conducted on all employees)
- Ability to assemble and perform minor repairs on furniture
- Accountability and Dependability
- Ability to adhere to the WCC dress code
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures
- Ability to lift 150lbs minimum, with the ability to lift 75lbs over your head.
Due to the nature of this position and entering customers' homes, applicants MUST have a clean background and be able to pass a drug test to be considered for hire. Background checks and drug tests are required prior to the hire of ALL employees. Random drug tests are conducted regularly among employees.
Class D Chauffeur's license must be obtained prior to start date
Saturdays are REQUIRED
All employees receive one day off each week (in addition to Sundays). To be determined by management.
