• On-site role, 5–7 days per week

JOB OVERVIEW
We are urgently seeking a seasoned Estimator with turnkey knowledge of the full estimating process to support ongoing project demands. This individual must be a self-starter who can take ownership of RFP packages from start to finish, interfacing with various software platforms and Excel-based tools. The estimator will provide detailed estimates for civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes — including pipelines, compressor stations, block valves, bypass lines, scrapers, and scrubbers/filters.
This person will serve as the foundation for schedule and project execution planning, feeding critical data into client templates to satisfy RFQ requirements. Projects range from $100K to $10M, and the selected candidate must be able to turn out accurate estimates at a high volume and pace. You will be supporting a team that is currently overwhelmed — you’ll make an immediate impact.
This is a contract-to-hire role (90-day try-to-buy) with strong potential for long-term placement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work on a consistent regimen of RFP packages, estimating across multiple disciplines.
• Calculate manhours, materials, indirects, and compile full turnkey proposals.
• Interface with client templates and systems to complete RFQ responses.
• Collaborate with Construction Site Manager and field teams to ensure estimates align with execution expectations.
• Lead early construction planning and support site mobilization efforts.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and track workforce productivity and scheduling adherence.
• Review and manage field-level changes including scope and cost impacts.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals and support pre-commissioning as needed.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5–7 years of field construction planning, estimating, and execution.
• Deep knowledge in civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• High proficiency with Excel and estimating software (Microsoft Project and/or P6 preferred).
• Ability to build schedules and cost models from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials testing procedures and ASTM standards.
• Previous experience with compressor stations, pipeline projects, and gas flow infrastructure.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple RFPs simultaneously.
• College degree is strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to travel and work flexible schedules as needed.
