COMPENSATION
$635-$655 per day
SCHEDULE
14 days on/ 14 days off (12 hour days)
POSITION OVERVIEW: Offshore Electrical Installation/ Commissioning Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a good coordination and planning of offshore logistics for personnel and materials.
- Collaborate amongst the Offshore Operations, Offshore Commissioning team and Contractors to establish a high degree of trust and collaboration.
- Ensure all needed equipment and material for daily commissioning works are available within needed time.
- Organize, participate in and coordinate regular logistics meetings.
- To proactively establish and maintain good professional relationship with all stakeholders.
- Ensure a safe working environment within the defined technical area(s) in accordance with industry standards and national legislation by management of RAMS and WAD review process, and offshore personnel qualification standards.
- To be present in regular internal and external management meetings to ensure correct and complete reporting.
- To ensure all LV, utility and mechanical systems are maintained within contractual defined timeline and in accordance with industry standards.
- Establish and apply defect management system in accordance with the contract and asper defined roles and responsibilities amongst different stakeholders.
- Ensure the overall spare part list complete and correct.
- Establish a smooth operational handover of the offshore platform(s) between the stakeholders.
TASKS
- Coordinate and plan daily offshore logistics for personnel and goods.
- Perform communication line between Offshore Operation Team, Offshore Commissioning Team and all stakeholders to ensure all needed recourses are in place for the installation works.
- Setup and manage a RAMS review process.
- Ensure that electrical and electromechanical systems are properly and timely maintained after first energization of the individual systems, this in accordance with the contractual standards.
- Establish contractual agreement with external contractors to ensure a complete and correct maintenance.
- Manage and coordinate the defect management process.
- Review individual system spare part list, compile the overall spare part list and make the purchase as per the approved list.
- Ensure all material end equipment for day-to-day work of the commissioning team is purchased and available.
- Participate regular management meetings and ensure a complete reporting where needed.
- Prepare the needed documentation and coordinate operational hand over of the platform(s)
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders.
- Support the commissioning manager in review. Perform day-to-day communication and coordination with offshore commissioning manager to establish needed support for purchase of material, RAMS review process and maintenance responsibilities Recommend corrective and preventive actions to product quality issues.

- Having an electrical vocational or engineering, or a marine engineering background.
- Possess experience and competencies within the following electrical/electromechanical fields: Low voltage and building utilities, high voltage (AC and DC) equipment and protection systems, electromechanical and automated safety systems, SCADA and communication systems.
- Experience with onshore and/or offshore substation outfitting, electrical installation, test, and commissioning.
- Having experience with offshore logistic role
CONTRACT TERM
1.5 years with a possibility to extend another year
Salary : $635 - $655
