Position Summary
Under direct supervision, assists with the day-to-day operations of minority student programs and initiatives. Project management skills needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for updating materials, preparing mailings and providing information regarding program details.
- Arranges student schedules.
- Responsible for coordinating travel and housing arrangements for students.
- Assists with the recruitment of underrepresented minority students.
- Assists with the coordination of meetings, conferences and events, including equipment set-up and catering services.
- Drafts proposals.
- Responsible for disbursement / reimbursement activities as needed.
- Maintains hard copy and / or electronic files and databases. Ensures the security, accuracy and integrity of records.
- Generates reports for analysis.
Education
Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Approximately 2 years of previous related experience
