This is a local contract opportunity that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating mammographic equipment and producing high-quality diagnostic images. Your primary goal will be to provide excellent patient care while adhering to established protocols and policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during exams
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams and recognize any medical problems or discomfort
- Use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection, and other adjustments to produce high-quality images
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in mammography technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of established company policies and protocols
