WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Dietician for a Prestigious Hospital in Lancaster, PA.
Job Function:
- Day Shift - 5x8
- Monday-Friday 8a-4:30pm
- Creating nutritional assessments based on health metrics and existing habits.
- Working independently and with other healthcare professionals to create individualized nutrition plans.
- Educating patients and families on their specific dietary needs.
- Developing meal plans that take patients’ life circumstances and chronic health conditions into account.
- Tracking patient progress.
- Connecting patients with other needed health services like fitness training and behavioral therapy.
- Promoting nutrition through community-wide presentations and awareness programs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition or related field from an accredited school.
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian, issued by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or registration eligible obtaining certification within 3 months from date of hire.
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a dietitian-nutritionist within three 3 months from date of hire.
- 1 to two 2 years of clinical nutrition experience and education.
- 1 year education background in teaching learning with excellent interpersonal skills.
- 2 to three 3 years of clinical nutrition experience and education skills.
- 1 year of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition support experience.
