Job Description
Compensation : $475000 - $500000 Job ID : 34494
Job Function :
- Approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative time
- Clinical time could be taking laborist shifts (typically 12 hrs but can be 24) or if have fellowship training may spend time on antepartum unit
- Will have 30% protected administrative time to heavily work on QI projects for the department
- Collaboration with anesthesia, pediatrics, maternity / postpartum - reports directly to the Chair of ObGyn
- A lead ObGyn hospitalist with team of 5 laborists CNM would report into you - there are in the process of starting an Ob-hospitalist fellowship program
- Level 3 NICU with 24 / 7 Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ob-Anesthesia Coverage
- 2 DaVinci robots, surgical cases only done as needed from triage, no specific dedicated time here
- Separate faculty practice handles OP care, L / D - only delivering babies from residency clinic, triage / walk-ins and coverage for private practice vacations
