Job Function :
Provide direct supervision to Nurse Managers, Nursing Coordinators, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other professional clinicians as needed.
Complete performance evaluations and participate in employment and termination decisions for RNs and LPNs. Ensure nursing coverage for all residential and day programs.
Ensure Initial and Annual Nursing Assessments are provided to all individuals, following the program's established format. Provide required assessments for all program participants based on acuity and need.
Coordinate and collaborate with management, support departments, and leadership to address the needs of people supported. Communicate with physicians, professional staff, hospitals, and other care venues to provide integrated care to all individuals supported.
Address medication inventory issues promptly, collaborate with pharmacies to resolve issues, and effectively communicate the plan moving forward with the team.
Job Requirements :
Minimum 2-3 years of progressive leadership / supervisory experience preferred
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
