RN - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently looking to hire a Registered Nurse for a community health center in Charlestown, RI. This person should come from an extensive primary or urgent care nursing background. This a great opportunity with one of the strongest employers in the region - long-term contract assignment with the opportunity to convert to permanent

Job Function

• Day Shift
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
• Interviews and maintains patient’s medical record to include: nursing observation; health history to include past and present use of medication; vital signs; vision/hearing tests; medications and treatments given
• Perform in-house labs, collect specimens for out-side labs perform quality control in accordance with organizational protocols
• Does health teaching as indicated by physician, diagnosis and/or inquires by patient
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/ GED
• Vocational/ Technical School/ Diploma Program - Nursing
• Minimum Work Related Experience: 2 years
• Valid Rhode Island State RN license
