RN - LTC - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a long-term care opportunity in Penn Yan, NY. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality care to residents while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Function

• Shift: Part Time D/N 2x8 one week/3x8 next week rotation - EOW and holiday 3x8.0.
• Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a nursing home environment.
• Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
• SIGMA experience preferred.
