Field Rental/ Tech Description
WCTractor is hiring an experienced Field Rental Technician to join our team in Waco, TX. This role performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment in the field. It requires strong mechanical ability, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
We are not hiring entry-level technicians for this role. Candidates should be comfortable operating a service truck and interacting with customers on-site.
Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and light mechanical repairs on rental equipment

Complete oil changes, hose repairs, and track adjustments in the field

Operate a service truck and maintain proper records of services performed

Communicate professionally with customers during service visits

Report major repair needs to the appropriate internal team

Follow company safety procedures and protocols
Field/ Rental Tech Qualifications
Requirements:

At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience (agriculture or construction equipment preferred)

Ability to work independently in the field

Strong communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
