Key Responsibilities:
As a Truck Driver at WCTractor, you’ll play a vital role in transporting construction and agricultural equipment between our locations and customers. Your responsibilities include:
- Safely loading, securing, and transporting equipment.
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
- Communicating with WCTractor team members and customers.
- Complying with truck driving rules, regulations, and company policies.
- Reporting defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
Vehicles: 3/4 Ton Trucks to 18-Wheelers
Truck Driver Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Trucking school diploma preferred.
- Strong knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
- Willingness to comply with DOT regulations.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy loads (up to 70-100 lbs).
Working Conditions:
- Work in a vehicle, shop, or outdoor environment.
- Overtime and weekend availability may be required.
- Exposure to temperature shifts and physical activity, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
