Job Purpose:
- To maintain the efficient and organized flow of equipment and materials within the yard of WASHINGTON COUNTY TRACTOR INC, ensuring smooth operations for sales, service, and parts departments. This includes receiving, storing, moving, and staging various agricultural equipment and related parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming equipment and materials, verifying against purchase orders and delivery slips.
- Inspect incoming items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move and store equipment and materials in designated yard locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of yard contents, noting locations and quantities.
- Prepare equipment for customer delivery, including cleaning, fueling, and attaching any necessary accessories.
- Stage equipment and materials for service technicians and parts personnel as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, which may include minor equipment maintenance or assisting other departments.

- 1 years of experience operating heavy machinery, including forklifts and tractors.
- Experience working in a yard or warehouse environment.
