WDBJ7 / WZBJ24, the legacy station in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking a talented Creative Services Producer / Media Producer to join the creative department. Bring your ideas to life at Your Hometown Station! The ideal candidate is a highly innovative, positive individual with the experience to conceptualize, write, produce, direct, and edit advertising materials for clients and stations. Are you a self-starter, driven by results, and a communications powerhouse? If so, read on! Major brownie points if you’re already digitally and socially savvy. To be considered, you must provide a reel or examples demonstrating your production, branding, and writing knowledge.
Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Pitch, write, light, shoot, and edit captivating client advertisements and exceptional station marketing.
- Work directly with clients and Sales to incorporate strategic ideas into campaigns.
- Produce graphic presentations, web ads, and other creative assets.
- Help plan and execute events and station initiatives.
- Use trafficking systems to order and run advertisements on TV and digital platforms correctly.
- Other duties as assigned.
