WDC Kitchen and Bath Center is a luxury retailer of home appliances, outdoor kitchens, plumbing fixtures and mattresses. We are looking for an organized individual to join our team as the Order Coordination Specialist!
This role provides support to the Retail Sales Division by coordinating with the customer for their order delivery/installation confirmations as product arrives to the warehouse. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of customer service best practices. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional communication skills. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers and sales consultants to provide assistance and coordination on open orders.
- Make outbound calls and emails to notify customers of their product availability, setting a delivery and/or installation date, and providing any other clarifying information needed.
- Using various software to review open orders for accuracy and updating orders or customer information if changes occur.
- Review Quotes and Purchase Order’s received. Ensure pricing and models numbers are correct. If there are discrepancies identified, escalating the matter to find a solution and notifying the appropriate persons involved.
- Notifying Customers of available warranties, if not selected at time of order placement through the Sales Consultant.
- Job Type: Full-time
- 2-4 years’ experience with purchase orders coordination, accounts receivables, or similar role.
- Customer service or customer facing environments preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and demonstrate good listening skills
- Minimum High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to change direction as priorities shift and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to cope with occasionally difficult or temperamental customers.
- Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress related to the position
Starting Pay Range:
- $19.00 – 21.00 hourly

- Rare weekend availability needed

- The Temperature in the work environment us usually moderate to cool, but can be cold or hot.
- Will be working with computers and phones frequently.
- Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequently sitting and typing for extended periods of time.
- Frequently able to communicate verbally and in written form.
- Frequently able to use all types of vision, such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception, to complete daily tasks.
