Job Summary:
We are Better Together is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team for the 2025-2026 school year. The candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children and/or adults. The SLP will work closely with patients, families, and/or multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving communication and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities to identify specific disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Therapy: Provide direct therapy to patients to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., school psych, educators) to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes.
- Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders and advocate for their needs within the community and healthcare settings.
- Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Desirable Attributes: Compassionate, patient-focused, and adaptable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
This position is part time/full time, with consistent working hours. Openings throughout the Treasure Valley.
