Route Sales Representatives (DSD)

As a Route Sales Representative, you are in charge of selling and merchandising We Are Frozen Treats' complete line of quality frozen novelty items to existing accounts. This position requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record. This is a full-time position that is paid on a per diem basis and does not have insurance benefits. Major holidays are paid time off and there are many opportunities for sales commission and bonuses. Your success is our success and that is rewarded generously.

• Willingness to deliver or recover equipment and ice cream

Prior success in sales and customer relations is important because you will work closely with owners/ management at local stores. A good relationship leads to happier customers and more opportunities to increase sales; this is directly reflected in your commission/bonus income.

What will you actually do? During the course of a normal workday, you'll be driving an established route to order products. This involves:

• Writing orders by app on a tablet
• Taking outdated stock out of freezers or displays, write store credits and discarding bad product.
• Cleaning and rotating products in displays and/or freezers in stores
• Analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action

It's a physical job. The ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods is essential. This position involves heavy driving and consistent, efficient order taking. You must be able to start early in the morning, work independently and produce strong, deliverable orders for the customers. There will be times where you have to deliver or recover freezers and ice cream. You will have the use of a take-home company vehicle and fuel card to perform job duties.
