I am currently working with a Mid-size firm based in Cranford, New Jersey, who are actively seeking a Matrimonial Attorney to join their team, as they look to make expansion hires. Here are the headlines:

Company 🏢

• No billable hour requirement: Work in an environment without the pressure of a billable requirement hanging over your head
• Mentorship & Training: Partner is looking to personally mentor and train a junior associate, offering hands-on guidance and a strong foundation for growth.
• Firm Growth: The firm has experienced a 20% increase in headcount over the last 2 years and is continuing to grow. Strong tenure is the norm here, with attorneys rarely leaving.
• Industry Engagement: Get involved in the firm’s well-established industry footprint by participating in webinars, podcasts, and conferences to further build your career and network.

Role 💼

• Case Management: Handle a variety of Matrimonial and Family Law matters, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, child and spousal support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements from inception through resolution.
• Drafting Pleadings & Motions: Draft and file complaints, answers, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and other pleadings. Prepare discovery requests, responses, and subpoenas.
• Discovery & Fact Investigation: Conduct thorough discovery, including reviewing documents, interrogatories, and depositions. Investigate facts, gather evidence, and build a solid case for trial.
• Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and motions practice. Present oral arguments, examine witnesses, and handle evidentiary issues.

• Up to $160,000 Base
• Up to $15,000 Bonus
