RALLY is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Copywriter to join our team and contribute to creating impactful messaging that drives meaningful change. The ideal candidate will have a talent for crafting compelling narratives and developing creative content that connects with diverse audiences across various platforms.
As a Senior Copywriter at RALLY, you will work closely with account teams and clients to develop high-quality content that aligns with strategic campaign goals. No two days are the same—you might be brainstorming ideas for a digital ad campaign one day and writing a thought-provoking op-ed or social media series the next.

85,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Los Angeles)

RALLY is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Copywriter to join our team and contribute to creating impactful messaging that drives meaningful change. The ideal candidate will have a talent for crafting compelling narratives and developing creative content that connects with diverse audiences across various platforms.
As a Senior Copywriter at RALLY, you will work closely with account teams and clients to develop high-quality content that aligns with strategic campaign goals. You’ll bring creativity, adaptability, and a passion for storytelling to every project. No two days are the same—you might be brainstorming ideas for a digital ad campaign one day and writing a thought-provoking op-ed or social media series the next.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit persuasive, high-quality content, including but not limited to op-eds, blog posts, speeches, digital ad copy, social media content, video scripts, campaign messaging, direct mail, and website copy.
- Collaborate with account teams to develop creative strategies that bring complex ideas to life and align with campaign objectives.
- Utilize research to inform and enrich content, ensuring accuracy and resonance with target audiences.
- Develop and maintain consistent brand voice and tone across multiple projects and platforms.
- Translate technical or policy-heavy information into accessible, engaging language for diverse audiences.
- Work on multiple client accounts simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Present concept ideas and drafts to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Monitor trends in language, storytelling, and audience engagement to inform and elevate your work.
- Partner with designers, strategists, video producers, and other team members to produce cohesive and impactful campaigns and scripts.
- Anticipate client needs, as well as internal team needs and assignments, on a daily basis.
- Manage and execute multiple, detailed tasks and projects for assigned client accounts.
- Attend regular staff, team, and client meetings, and provide input and feedback on business improvement, including the craft of client service, staff development, and office procedures.
- Relevant professional experience in copywriting, content creation, or a similar role.
- 5–8 years of experience as a copywriter, content creator, or in a similar role, ideally in an agency, nonprofit, or advocacy setting.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across formats and audiences.
- Ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into clear, actionable, and compelling content.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on issue advocacy or social impact campaigns is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, audience engagement strategies, and trends in copywriting.
- High attention to detail, with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, high emotional intelligence, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
