Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Project Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the consistent execution and maintenance of established project management processes and systems. You will also provide insights and recommendations for ongoing improvements and support the development of our Project Coordinator through coaching. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on project execution while mentoring a team member to strengthen the overall project management capabilities of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Maintenance : Ensure the smooth and consistent execution of established project management processes, ensuring they are adhered to across all projects. Maintain the integrity of workflows, documentation standards, and communication practices.
- Continuous Improvement : Provide insights, feedback, and recommendations for process improvements based on your experience and observations. Work with teams to optimize existing processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coaching and Development : Mentor and coach our Project Coordinator, providing guidance on best practices, project management skills, and professional growth. Support their development within the current role and help them enhance their project management capabilities.
- Project Management : Manage key projects, particularly those involving Tier 1 partners, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication : Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks within projects and proactively work with teams to develop mitigation strategies and ensure successful project delivery.
- System and Process Optimization : Identify inefficiencies in the project management system and workflows, and collaborate with teams to streamline and improve them.
- Important to note : the client is setting up project management in an organization that has never had a PM team and they are collaborating with divisions that don't have PM support.
