We Care Dental Care is looking to build our team! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduler. As a Front Desk Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the office runs smoothly in regard to scheduling, insurance coordination, treatment coordination, and patient communication. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional with a passion for delivering exceptional patient service who is looking to advance their career. Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients and accurately record insurance information in patient records.
  • Submit dental insurance claims electronically and monitor claim status to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and resolve any issues or denials.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and patients to resolve insurance-related inquiries and ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Manage patient accounts, process payments, and generate financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans and accurately estimate patients' financial responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
  • Utilize dental practice management software to manage patient records, treatment plans, and financial transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and billing procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Dental office manager, treatment coordinator, Insurance Coordinator, Billing Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance coordination, including verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding claims.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
