We Care Dental Care is looking to build our team! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduler. As a Front Desk Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the office runs smoothly in regard to scheduling, insurance coordination, treatment coordination, and patient communication. Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients and accurately record insurance information in patient records.
- Submit dental insurance claims electronically and monitor claim status to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and resolve any issues or denials.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and patients to resolve insurance-related inquiries and ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Manage patient accounts, process payments, and generate financial statements.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans and accurately estimate patients' financial responsibilities.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.
- Utilize dental practice management software to manage patient records, treatment plans, and financial transactions.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and billing procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dental office manager, treatment coordinator, Insurance Coordinator, Billing Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance coordination, including verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on outstanding claims.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
