Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for clients.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on addiction counseling and support.
- Collaborate with schools to provide psychological services and support for students.
- Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in research activities to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the field of psychology.
- Work closely with families to provide child family counseling as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in psychology through continuous education and professional development.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a psychologist.
- Experience in addiction counseling, group therapy, and individual counseling is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in psychology.
- Experience working with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and research within the field.
