We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized recovery plans.
- Provide crisis management and intervention services to clients in need of immediate support.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients in their recovery process.
- Offer addiction counseling and behavioral health support through one-on-one sessions and group activities.
- Mentor clients by sharing personal experiences and strategies for overcoming challenges.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and mental health counselors, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans within established systems.
- Facilitate workshops and educational sessions on coping strategies, life skills, and relapse prevention.
Experience
- A background in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, or behavioral health is preferred.
- Experience in mentoring or providing support to individuals facing mental health challenges is highly valued.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and best practices in social work is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $18.76 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
