We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide direct support in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client preferences.
- Implement and follow care plans designed to meet the individual needs of each client.
- Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, to help clients move safely around their home or community.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behavior, reporting any concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure a safe environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an In Home Caregiver or in a similar role within a nursing home or memory care setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in assisting individuals with personal care tasks and daily living activities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Certification in first aid is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a compassionate demeanor are essential for success in this role.
