What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional- FEMALE NEEDED position at We Care Home Caregivers?
AVAILABLE IN LAKEWOOD, NJ AREA
MUST HAVE A CAR AND DRIVER'S LICENSE.
- Help with general light housekeeping, personal hygiene, dressing and maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
- Must have experience with seizure care
- Provide nutritional support to patients. (Preparing meals; feeding)
- Preform basic health care services for patients, including checking patients’ weight, vital signs, and documentation.
- Reminding patients to take medications.
- Assist patients with ambulation and exercise as appropriate.
- Work with RN, LVN and other caregivers to meet patient’s health care needs.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ condition to Nurse Supervisor / RN.
- Maintain status with HHA in-service training.
- Work with limited supervision.
- Other supportive services as assigned.
- Reports to HHA Liaison, HHA Supervisor then Director of Nursing.
- Ability to travel with patient to appointments, restaurants, and shopping
- Ability to lift and assist client when going through an episode
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
