We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Business Development with expertise in cultivating new business opportunities within our existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic relationship building, effective communication, and a deep understanding of customer needs. As the VP of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, maximizing customer lifetime value, and driving sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding revenue streams from current customers.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts with significant growth potential, leveraging data-driven insights and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, including C-level executives, to understand their business objectives and challenges.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer pain points and aligning our solutions to address their needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop tailored solutions and value propositions that resonate with existing customers.
  • Lead negotiations for contract renewals, expansions, and new business opportunities, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections.

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development roles, with a focus on driving revenue growth from existing customers.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Previous experience in retail, fintech and logistics ecosystems is highly desirable
