Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our equipment design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the equipment design team to meet company objectives.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supervising, leading, mentoring, and developing the technical and soft skills of engineers within the department.
- Ensuring that all equipment designs meet/exceed respective codes and standards.
- Leading in determining form, fit, function, and specification of all equipment design and components to meet manufacturing requirements/needs.
- Determining operating loads of equipment and sizing mechanical systems and components for safety and reliability.
- Making executive recommendations based upon function, budget, ROI, quality, and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in project management.
