We Energies , a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking Right of Way Agent s at the following locations : Iron Mountain MI, Appleton WI, and West Allis WI.
Job Summary
The Right of Way Agent, completes the timely purchase, sale, leasing, and management of real estate right / property owned by WE. Negotiates rights and damages (easement and / or permission) as appropriate on property not owned by WE.
Job Responsibilities
Right of Way Agent experience includes :
Experience in the acquisition and negotiation of easements, purchase or sale of land, appraisal, relocation or other similar duties related to public or private utilities or public infrastructure projects. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, land surveys and legal descriptions.
Minimum Experience Required
Applicants must have :
- Applicant must have an Associate’s degree in real estate with 2 years Right-of-Way Agent experience within the last 10 years
- Nine credits in relevant real estate courses as part of a Bachelor’s degree program in business administration, urban planning or related field
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, urban planning or related field with 18 credits in relevant real estate courses at the technical college level
- Four years of Right-of-Way Agent experience within the last ten years.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving.
Official transcripts are required and should be submitted at the time of your application; must be attached to application or provided to HR within ten (10) days of the posting closing date. If you do not have your transcripts, please take the necessary steps to be able to provide them prior to being scheduled for any testing.

Minimum Posting Range : $34.50
Maximum Posting Range : $57.45
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary / pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
