Position Overview

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily production floor operations, leading the production team, and ensuring production targets are consistently met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves coordinating production schedules, monitoring workflows, and collaborating across departments to deliver products on time and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Resource Management : Ensure the availability of equipment, materials, and personnel needed to meet production goals, quality standards, and efficiency metrics.
• Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with maintenance, quality control, sanitation, and management teams to support seamless operations.
• Production Monitoring : Supervise production areas to ensure all scheduled machines are operating efficiently, safely, and within established guidelines.
• Safety Leadership : Foster a safe working environment by adhering to and enforcing health, safety, and company standards.
• Conflict Resolution : Address employee concerns using a facilitative approach that involves thorough research, investigation, and resolution.
• Payroll Accuracy : Review and approve timecards and attendance requests to ensure accurate payroll processing.
• Compliance and Quality Control : Oversee processing activities to maintain compliance with GMPs, SQF, and regulatory standards.
• Process Improvement : Optimize workflows by setting control points, analyzing malfunctions or deviations, and implementing corrective actions to achieve objectives.
• Food Safety Commitment : Ensure alignment with GMP and Food Safety protocols, demonstrating full commitment to regulatory and SQF compliance.
• Issue Resolution : Identify and troubleshoot production issues, applying solutions to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Operational Excellence : Monitor processes, adjust variables, and collaborate with teams to achieve smooth and effective operations.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
