What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Instructor position at We R CPR, LLC?
We have an opening for an American Heart Association Instructor.
Instructor will complete training and teach AHA – Health and Safety Courses to include BLS/CPR/AED and First Aid. Instructor duties include teaching classes on and off site. Handle paperwork and manage equipment for assigned class from start to finish. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. Detailed oriented. This is not as supervisory potion.
Hours/Schedule: Needs to be flexible to work a varied schedule to include daytime, evening and some weekends. Full Time . Office is closed on Sunday and most major holidays.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Certification as a current AHA provider preferred, but will train and certify the right candidate through AHA. Candidates will sign a confidentiality upon hire.
Experience: Education, adult training or service industry preferred. Basic computer and email skills are required. Must be able to demonstrate ability to utilize MS office programs. Must be comfortable using audio visual equipment to deliver lessons effectively in an adult learning environment. (computer/LCD, PowerPoint) Clean Medical background required ( LPN /EMT/RN) and Military background preferred.
Must have a clean driving record and no criminal record

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to speak clearly so listeners can understand and understand the speech of another person. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic).
