Job Summary:
A Production Associate is responsible for various tasks such as disassembling, operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. They play a crucial role in meeting production goals while adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassembly & Production: Disassemble, package, or inspect products according to specifications.
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual and functional inspections to meet quality standards.
- Material Handling: Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Work with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Forklift certification or being able to be certified (preferred).
- Must be able to wear a Hazmat Suit and Full-Face Respirator (required).
Work Environment:
- Exposure to loud machinery, dust and temperature variations.
- Requires safety gear such as gloves, goggles, ear protection, Hazmat Suit and Full-Face Respirator.
- Fast-paced manufacturing/production setting.
- May involve working evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime based on demand.
Other Duties:
- Assist with special projects and other tasks assigned by management.
- Collaborate with areas to ensure smooth plant operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
