As my client continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their team.
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.
✅ Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
✅ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment with design specifications.
✅ Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and enforce safety standards.
✅ Manage procurement, contract negotiation, and change orders.
✅ Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
✅ Communicate project updates effectively with stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
✔️ 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
✔️ Strong knowledge of commercial site development, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
✔️ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms).
✔️ Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
✔️ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
✔️ OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
✅ Experience managing federal building projects or large-scale commercial developments.
✅ Knowledge of cost control processes and value engineering principles.
✅ Familiarity with Trimble GPS, scheduling software, and construction reporting tools.
