About the Role :
As a Heavy Civil Project Manager , you will oversee all phases of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget . You will manage field operations, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for wastewater, sewer, and municipal construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of wastewater, sewer, structural, and municipal projects from pre-construction through final completion.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation , ensuring projects stay on track.
Lead project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and municipal codes .
Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks and resolving issues as they arise.
Manage contract negotiations, change orders, RFIs, and procurement of materials .
Provide regular updates and reports to Director or Construction / Pre-Construction & Owner
Qualifications & Experience :
- 5 years of experience managing heavy civil projects, preferably in wastewater, sewer, or municipal infrastructure .
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from planning to completion .
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Procore.
