What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reviewing project plans, specs, and bid documents to create accurate estimates.
- Performing detailed take-offs based on plans and drawings.
- Analyzing labor, material, and overhead costs to develop competitive bids.
- Collaborating with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure a seamless bidding process.
- Ensuring compliance with NEC regulations.
What They’re Looking For:
- 5 years of estimating experience in construction (electrical projects preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail in price calculations.
- Proficiency in estimating software like ConEst or similar tools.
- Solid negotiation and communication skills to interact with subcontractors and clients.
