Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Salesperson to join our team. This position will focus on providing excellent customer service, interpreting blueprints, and working with contractors and the general public. The ideal candidate will have experience with building products and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with contractors and the general public to provide product information and answer inquiries.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assist customers with their product selections.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and project specifications.
- Maintain product knowledge to stay current on industry trends and new products.
- Assist in showroom management, including organizing displays and inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with contractors, designers, and customers.
- Previous experience with general building products is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
