What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer and Class D Drivers position at We staff better?
Local Greenhouse Company seeking several IMMEDIATE FULL-TIME & SEASONAL TEMPPERM laborers. Must be flexible and love to work outdoors! 40 plus hours and weekly pay!
Starting pay for Laborers $12.50
Planting and Transplanting: Assist with planting seeds, seedlings, and young plants, as well as transplanting to larger pots or outdoor beds.
Watering and Fertilizing: Regularly water plants, apply fertilizers, and monitor soil moisture levels to ensure healthy plant growth.
Weeding and Pest Control: Remove weeds, monitor for pests, and apply necessary treatments or report issues to supervisors.
Maintenance of Greenhouse Equipment: Clean and maintain greenhouse tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Harvesting: Assist with harvesting mature plants, flowers, or vegetables and preparing them for sale or distribution.
Cleaning and Organizing: Keep work areas, greenhouses, and storage spaces clean and organized.
General Labor Tasks: Perform general labor duties such as lifting and moving materials, preparing plant beds, and assisting with greenhouse construction or repairs.
Starting pay for Class D Delivery Drivers $14-15
Deliver Goods: Safely transport goods to customer locations according to the assigned delivery schedule.
Unload Deliveries: Use the EZ lift and hand trucks to unload items from the truck and ensure they are delivered to the correct location at the customer's site.
Verify Deliveries: Check the order against the delivery paperwork to ensure the correct items are being delivered and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
Inspect Truck: Perform basic pre-trip inspections of the truck, including checking fluid levels, tires, and safety equipment before and after each delivery.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the delivery truck clean and organized, ensuring all items are properly secured during transit.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and addressing any delivery-related concerns.
Record Keeping: Complete delivery paperwork, log mileage, and report any issues with deliveries or equipment to the supervisor
