What are the responsibilities and job description for the Terminal Manager position at WE Transport Inc.?
Work Schedule: As needed for the district. This position is considered as salaried.
Supervision: Direct supervision and allocation of work to be provided by Operations Manager
Professional Development Requirements: Minimum 16 hours per year – off premises.
The following duties and responsibilities to be performed in accordance with rules, policies and guidelines established by Royal Coach Lines.
Dispatching
Scheduling of Drivers, Attendants, and vehicles to school routes
Make arrangements for vehicles scheduled for D.O.T. & Preventive Maintenance and notify of vehicles needed for shop
Maintain accurate route packets for each route originating from terminal
Prepare & maintain accurate crew sheets for terminal
Route new clients in programs originating from terminal
Notify Drivers & Attendants of new clients
Track daily routes in computer dispatching program
Notify programs of late running routes or changes to routes
Confirm schedules of programs (i.e.: ½ days, closings)
Communicate with highway departments on condition of roads
Driving duties as needed
Ensure compliance with training and testing requirements
Discipline
Assist Drivers and Attendants in resolving behavior issues
Keep accurate Referral logs of incidents on routes
Contact clients to help resolve discipline issues, and attend intervention meetings with Drivers, Attendants, as needed
Office
Ensure Drivers and Attendants perform duties effectively and professionally
Ensure payroll is being completed timely and accurately
Notify supervisor of any occurring incidents
Assist in training of new employees and needed retraining of existing employees
Keep informed of all current laws, regulations and policies
Attend all required meetings and training programs
Starting Annual Salary: $65,000.00
