What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal - Fun Team - Growing Firm - Office Position position at We Win Injury Law?
Who We Are: We Win Injury Law is not your typical “boring office job.” We’re a fast-paced, no-nonsense personal injury law firm in Utah, shaking things up and fighting for seriously injured clients. Our team of passionate attorneys and staff isn’t just clocking in and out, we're here to make sure every client gets the maximum compensation they deserve (and we’re pretty good at it). We're the people who fight for not just the injuries, but the stuff you didn’t even realize you could get compensation for, like that dented fender and the coffee cup you lost in the accident (yep, we’re that good). At We Win Injury Law, it's simple: We win for you. Period.
The Job: Guess what? We’re growing. And guess what else? We need a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team of legal superheroes in our St. George office. You’ll be supporting our rockstar attorneys, assisting clients with their personal injury claims, and probably solving a few mysteries along the way (we’ll let you decide if you’re a fan of detective work). The best part? No two days are the same. We’re offering office hours Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, and a nice, early 1:00 PM finish on Fridays. Who doesn’t love a longer weekend?
What We're Looking For: We need someone who’s organized, like, “I can find that file in 2 seconds” on the computer organized. You should also be able to communicate like a pro (both written and verbal), manage multiple cases without breaking a sweat, and understand the magic of computers and filing systems. Oh, and be friendly. We like friendly, and so do our clients. We’re looking for someone who knows how to get things done but also knows how to have a good time while doing it (because let's be real, we can’t be serious all the time and we have to work in the same space as you). Experience in personal injury is preferred, but if you have paralegal experience and want to come to the good side, we'll take it! If you’ve got a positive attitude, a sharp mind, and the drive to learn, we’ll train you! Bonus points if you speak Spanish, because who doesn’t like a bilingual superhero?
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of reason and calm for clients who are probably freaking out (hey, we get it,it’s stressful, you're hurting!).
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and healthcare providers because, let’s face it, they sometimes need a little push (you don't have to be as friendly to insurance adjusters.)
- Review Legal docouments and electronically organize files like a pro, because no one wants to hear, “Where’s that file?” (not on your watch!).
- Be a master of sending emails, including knowing how to cc the right people. Fancy, right? But someone’s gotta do it.
- Keep everything organized and running smoothly, so nothing ends up in a giant pile on someone’s desk (we're looking at you, messy desk people).
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- We’re a Team, Not a Cult: We’re all about teamwork, without the weird vibe. We support each other, have each other’s backs, and occasionally share office snacks (we’re generous like that). We also stock the fridge with soda. You're welcome.
- Fun Office Vibes: We don’t believe in boring workdays. Here, you’ll work, laugh, learn, and get things done, and we typically throw in a lunch parties for training now and then.
- Location, Location, Location: This position is for our St. George, Utah office where the magic happens. It’s sunny, it’s warm, and we’re surrounded by stunning state and national parks, perfect for all your outdoor adventures, or just pretending you’re outdoorsy on Instagram.
Why Apply? If you’re looking for a job where you can actually have fun, learn new things, and make a real difference in people’s lives (while making a paycheck obviously), we might just be the place for you. Bonus points if your resume and cover letter are custom-made for us (seriously, we appreciate the effort but it also shows us you know how to use word or google docs). Check out our website at wewininjurylaw.com to see what we’re all about.
Ready to join a team that wins for our clients, and has a blast doing it? Apply now! We promise we’re way cooler than your current or last job.
