Responsibilities:
Millwright Mechanic will Install, inspect, adjust and repair equipment while following safety rules and regulations. Maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures for the facility. You work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties. Knowledge of assembling and repairing hydraulic equipment including but not limited to servicing pumps, valves, manifolds, and compressors is a PLUS. Performing periodic equipment maintenance, repairs, parts replacement and troubleshooting various production equipment
Demonstrate mechanical skills in the following areas; but not limited to:
- Repair power transmission components
- Bearing replacement
- Properly align couplings, sprockets, pulleys, drive belts, chains, etc.
- Hydraulics a plus
- Pneumatics
- Parts fabrication
- Lubrication
- Install and set-up new machinery
- Keep equipment and machinery maintained and repaired.
- Troubleshoot all mechanical problems with equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
- Ability to use/operate:
- Various hand tools, power tools
