Our company headquarters in Plymouth Minnesota is looking for a Facilities Assistant to provide onsite office management and establish and oversee facilities-related vendor relationships.

This is a fully on-site role located in Plymouth, Minnesota.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $23.00 - $32,00 per hour, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Office Facilities Oversight and Maintenance

  • Support and improve branch office efficiency
  • Identify Facilities maintenance needs and communicate to building engineering or Regional Facilities Planner as appropriate
  • Coordinate meeting room furniture and space layout changes required for meetings, events and conferences
  • Communication of maintenance projects to impacted staff
  • Provide other onsite support functions as identified by Facilities Manager
  • Consult with branch office staff to identify space maintenance, furniture and fixture needs for Facilities Planner review

Maintain supply stock and breakroom spaces

  • Manage, order and stock breakroom and office supplies
  • Clean breakrooms, as required
  • Complete regular maintenance to breakroom equipment (coffee makers, dishwashers, etc.)

Vendor Management

  • Serve as the liaison for branch office administrator to escalate challenges and address with appropriate vendor
  • Manage vendors to ensure expectations of work is completed to our standards
  • Establish, manage and maintain relationship with vendors
  • Act as purchasing agent for new and established vendors
  • Research and recommend new products

Manage Facilities information online

  • Post office emergency procedures to Connections for new and acquired offices
  • Update branch office address in Workday and Connections for all office relocations
  • Add acquisition conference resources to the Facilities page on connections
  • Maintain landlord contact information in Support Org
  • Upload and maintain floor plans for all offices in the Condeco desk reservation system
  • Review and assign Support Org cases to Facilities Planners

Education/Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to prioritize workflow
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office and other software as required
  • Experience with Venminder preferred

OSHA Requirements

  • The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, to use the telephone and computer systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to file documents in high or low cabinets

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the individual contributor level is $23.00/hourly to $35.50/hourly.
