Job Title: Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Bookkeeper with strong experience in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to support multiple clients across various industries. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with bank feeds, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll tax liability accounts, and financial report reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Set up and manage bank feeds and rules for bank accounts and credit cards.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate equity and retained earnings accounts and track changes over time.
- Understand and process payroll transactions and payroll tax liability accounts.
- Track and reconcile loans, lines of credit, and fixed assets.
- Conduct financial report reviews to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Provide exceptional client communication, both verbally and via email.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping questions, transaction clean-up, and troubleshooting.
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks while managing multiple clients daily.
- Tax return preparation experience is a plus, with room for growth and additional responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
â Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (certification preferred).
â Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and payroll processing.
â Experience with financial reports, equity accounts, and loan tracking.
â Ability to work with multiple clients in different industries throughout the day.
â Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
â Strong client communication skills, both written and verbal.
â Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
â Experience with tax return preparation is a plus but not required.
