Position Title: Investment Research Analyst
Location: Webster, NY

Employment Type: Full Time; Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Summary:

As an Investment Research Analyst, you will support our wealth management team by conducting thorough research and analysis to inform investment decisions. You will perform due diligence on investment products, develop and present investment outlook materials, and update economic and market metrics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance as well as working with and supporting a team. Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial and ongoing due diligence of investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments
  • Develop and present monthly and quarterly investment outlook materials, including detailed market analysis and forecasts
  • Regularly update and analyze economic and market metrics, presenting findings to the Investment Committee for strategic decision-making
  • Assist with preparing comprehensive financial plans in accordance with the firm's planning philosophy and client objectives
  • Prepare financial reports and documents prior to client meetings and assist with new account paperwork
  • Provide detailed portfolio analysis and assist with trades as directed
  • Collaborate directly with CPAs, actuaries, wholesalers, and other industry professionals to provide customized client solutions
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, working closely with the fund administrator and other service providers as needed
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as required by the firm
  • Assist with additional projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of investment research and analysis experience; including mutual funds and ETFs
  • Preferred or willingness to pursue: SIE and Series 7 (training provided)
  • Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
  • Excellent follow-up skills with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates initiative, identifying areas for improvement and taking steps to address them effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office tools.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
