Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy : Oversee the entire tax department, ensuring seamless execution of tax strategies across multiple industries, including real estate, healthcare, and manufacturing. Establish and execute a long-term vision for the department's growth and efficiency.
- Team Development & Mentorship : Lead, train, and develop a team of 100 CPAs, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. Implement training programs to enhance technical skills and business acumen.
- Tax Strategy & Compliance : Design and implement sophisticated tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Process Improvement & Innovation : Introduce modern tax technologies and automation to optimize workflows. Develop and refine internal processes to maximize efficiency and client service.
- Client & Business Development : Act as a trusted advisor to high-level clients, offering strategic tax planning and financial guidance. Collaborate with firm leadership to attract new business and expand service offerings.
- Regulatory Awareness & Risk Management : Stay ahead of tax law changes, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of regulatory compliance. Establish best practices for risk assessment and mitigation.
- Financial Performance & Growth : Work closely with executive leadership to set department goals, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth through strategic tax services.
