As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Cassena Care’s network, strengthening referral partnerships, and driving census growth across our facilities. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will serve as the primary point of contact for outreach initiatives, build and lead a dynamic business development team, and implement strategies that enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Outreach & Relationship Building :
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with organizational goals.
Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and other referral sources.Act as the face of Cassena Care in the community, representing the organization at networking events, conferences, and industry functions.Team Leadership :Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing business development team.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and excellence.Establish team performance metrics and hold members accountable to achieve goals.Market Analysis & Strategy :Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies that address market needs and capitalize on growth opportunities.Monitor industry developments and propose innovative approaches to maintain a competitive edge.Performance Tracking & Reporting :Track and analyze referral patterns, admissions, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare detailed reports for senior management, offering insights and actionable recommendations.Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as needed.Collaboration Across Departments :Partner with clinical, marketing, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
Work closely with the admissions team to streamline referral-to-admission processes and enhance client satisfaction.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the healthcare or skilled nursing industry.Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and scaling teams.Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks, including hospitals, case managers, and physicians.Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.Compensation and Benefits :
